I am a RPCV (Bolivia 2001-2003). I finished my Masters last summer. I am trying to work in international development. I have been job-hunting for a year. I am willing to take entry-level position.
My exp: implementing Education, Environment, Health programs; doing evaluations as a Program Evaluator, a Program Analyst. Report results to stakeholders with new suggestions to improve them.
I have three years International work experience, community development. At CDC conducted qualitative analysis. At an NGO provided technical assistance for education programs, created project design. Bilingual, Grants, Budget, proposals. Masters Latin American studies. Thesis on NGOS and Development.

Applications are invited for the position of “Implementing Partners Technical Advisor” under the USAID-funded Ambassadors Girls Scholarship Program (AGSP) in Africa. This is a full time position and the advisor will be hired by Aurora Associates International, LLC., subcontractor to the Academy for Educational Development, prime contractor, implementing the project in Africa. AGSP provides scholarships and mentoring to needy, academically promising girls and boys in primary and secondary schools throughout 15 African countries.

I have been back in the country for 5 weeks, just working construction. The day after thanksgiving I will be moving to San Diego, CA in search of a general business job. Any information about possible openings would be appreciated....

I’m looking for work in public service, ideally public policy research. If any RPCVs out there know of possible opportunities in the Los Angeles (westside) area I would really appreciate any info before my readjustment allowance runs out.
